Wrought Wrapped Chefs Knife
Here is a hand forged Chefs knife made from several different types of steel that have been forge welded together into one wickedly quick blade.
High-carbon 1095 and 15n29 make up the hard core of this knife. A set of softer steels, nickel silver and antique wrought iron, was used to jacket the hardened inner steel body.
This high-contrast blade is a lean, medium weight kitchen knife that comes in at 202 grams with a 10.2” cutting edge. It’s fitted with a gorgeous Hawaiian Koa handle shaped in Wa style and bronze spacer. A hand stitched, vegetable tanned leather saya also accompanies this knife.
