This one is a hand forged integral Chefs knife made from two different types of steel that have been forge welded together into one boldly patterned blade.

High-carbon 1095 and 15n20 were the foundation for creating this low-layer, randomly patterned look. It’s a well balanced, medium weight kitchen knife that comes in at 219 grams with a 10.” cutting edge and just shy of 15” in overall length. 

Beautifully figured Chechen Bitch and bronze were used to create the contoured and comfortable handle.  A hand stitched, vegetable tanned leather saya also accompanies this knife.
