Damascus Nakiri with Mango Wa Style Handle
Designed to take down veggies, this style of Nakiri has become our favorite all around knife in the kitchen.
This knife is made with High-carbon inner core and a low count random pattern outer jacket. The grind on this Nakiri is full-flat that has been finish shaped by hand and sanded to 1200 grit. The blade was then repeatedly etched and polished etched to expose the organic pattern.
Cutting edge on this gem is 153mm / 6". The spine is a thin 1.1mm out of the handle.
The shaped and tapered Wa style handle made from a unique piece of green/blue dyed Hawaiian Sugi Pine. A black G10 has been used for the spacer.
The wooden saya cover made from Hard Maple has been made specifically to fit this knife and then wrapped with a flamingo patterned paper.
